Area of Research: I am interested in translational studies of emotion in animal models of psychiatric disorders and in normal and clinical human populations. Using behavioral studies in conjunction with non-invasive functional (fMRI) and structural (DTI) imaging, I am currently working on identifying differences in neural circuitry in the brains of people with psychiatric disorders, focusing on anxiety and depression. |
